At the beginning of June thieves damaged St Luke's copper canopy on the parish centre entrance.  What we didnt know until the 21st of June is that thieves had also stolen a large amount of lead from the roof of the church too!

Following the recent heavy storm church goers were distressed to discover the rain pouring into their beloved church.  A massive clean up operation has since taken place and closer inspection has estimated repairs costing in the region of £20,000!

Now St Luke's needs your help to repair the damagethis thoughtless act has caused.  The people of St luke's church would like to say a big thank you to the Cleveland Fire Brigade for coming to the rescue when it happened.
